Laurent Lebled - "La Sauvignonne" Skin Contact White Wine 2024 (750ml)

50 to 70 year old vines.

Winemaking: Whole-cluster grapes are given a 10 day full carbonic maceration in stainless steel. They're then pressed and racked to fiberglass for aging. No SO2 added. Practicing organic farming, not yet certified.

Fun Facts: his wine is produced within the Touraine appellation but is intentionally declassified as VDF. To this day, no one is quite sure what the hell is going on with the label...

About the geographic area: Châtillon-sur-Cher (Touraine AOC) is a municipality in the Loir-et-Cher department of the Centre-Val de Loire region in France. Located in the Loire Valley, it sits by the Sauldre and Cher rivers and is part of the Romorantin-Lanthenay arrondissement.
